We usually choose right civil using valve as per requirement
of end-user. Below are some issues we should to pay attention
1. We should inspect surface of valve. The surface of valve should
be gloss and homogeneous. If there are many blisters and black
spot ,or these conditions exist :plate desquamate ,chap ,scorch
, sagging , the using life span can be reduced inordinately.
2. Pay attention on face to face length of gate valve and ball
valve you need .if it is incorrect, valve can not be installed
normally.
3. When buying triangular valve, you can find two type threads:
male and female .you can purchase as per your requirement. there
is a type valve with material kirsite in the market ,which is
cheaper and can easily fracture because of corrosion .
4. The thread of valve connects with pipe .when purchasing you
can inspect if there is pit or there is no thread in some part
by visual inspection. combining effective length between thread
and connecting part can affect seal-stability .general speaking
, effective length of Parallel pipe threads by DN 15 is about
10mm.
5. the Nominal pressure is marked on lever of gate
valve and ball valve .when purchasing the appropriate Nominal
pressure should be accepted according to practical situation.
