Valve is generally consisted of body, bonnet, disc,
seat, stem, backing, packing and drive device.
The material of valve body and bonnet is called shell material
(material of main part), the disc, ball, seat, stem, sealing socket
is usually called trim. Besides, there are fastener and sealing
and etc.
According to the shell material / material of main part, valve
can decided into following parts:
1. Non-metal material valve: such as Caramic valve, Glass valve,
Plastic valve.
2. Metal material valve: such as Carbon steel valve, Alloy steel
valve, Stainless valve, Cast iron valve, Titanium alloy, Monel
valve, Aldary
valve, Aluminium alloy valve, Lead alloy valve and
etc.
3. Metal body lining valve: such as Rubber liner valve, Fluorine
liner valve, Lead liner valve, Plastic liner valve, Enamel liner
valve.
